Plans People is owned and run by Nigel Harris, who has over 22 years experience in the construction industry. 

Nigel is a qualified architectural technologist with BTEC National and Higher National Certificates in Building Studies, and obtained a BA (Hons) in Architecture in 1994.  Since then Nigel has gone on to study with The Open University, obtaining certificates in Humanities and Sustainability.

Since 1988 Nigel has been a project architect and job runner for both design and build and traditional contracts, with project values from £10 000 to £30 million.  He was a Quality Assurance Manager and Associate at a leading architectural practice in Warwickshire until 2004 when he made the decision to set up Plans People.

Plans People works in conjunction with other similarly experienced and like-minded individuals who are also sole traders and happy to collaborate as and when the opportunities arise.

Diversity of projects has ensured Nigel has the depth of knowledge needed to work on projects of all types, sizes and value including residential schemes, commercial projects and education projects. Click the links opposite for more information.
